LBTap is an Android app that turns your phone into a digital business card. You share it by touching phones (NFC), by showing a QR code, or through Android's share menu. This policy explains what the app does with your information.
LBTap is published by LBCLOUDS LLC (Delaware, USA), trading as LB Clouds ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
Everything below is stored only in LBTap's private storage on your phone:
We never receive any of this. Uninstalling LBTap deletes it.
Only when you share it, and only to the person you share it with:
| How | What is shared | With whom |
|---|---|---|
| NFC tap | Your card as a contact (vCard), including the photo unless you turn that off | The phone touching yours, a few centimetres away. By default this only works while LBTap is open. |
| QR code | Your card details as text, without the photo | Whoever scans the code on your screen |
| Send another way | A contact file (.vcf), including the photo | The app and person you pick in Android's share menu. That app's own privacy policy applies from there. |
After someone saves your card, it is in their contacts and under their control, just like a paper card. To update what they have, share your card with them again.
LBTap also reads the phone's motion sensor to tilt the card on screen. The readings are used immediately for the animation and are never stored.
If you have Android backup turned on, Android may include LBTap's settings in your Google account backup, as it does for most apps, so your card comes back on a new phone. That backup is handled by Google under your account; we cannot access it. You can turn backup off in your phone's settings.
LBTap is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. Because it collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either.
If a future version changes how information is handled (for example, by adding an online feature), we will update this page and the date above before that version is released.
